WOMEN CAN GET IT DONE
”Let’s empower immigrant and low-income mothers in New York City to become active participants in their children’s educational journey and leaders within their communities.”

….NEW YORK since June 2022
The program addresses critical barriers to family engagement in education, including language limitations, unfamiliarity with the U.S. school system, and social isolation. Through culturally responsive workshops, leadership development, and peer support, the initiative equips mothers to actively participate in their children’s academic success.
The project directly aligns with NYC priorities around:
- Educational equity
- Family and community engagement
- Immigrant inclusion
- Economic and social mobility
